Vision boards are spaces that allow you to visualize and tangibly see what you want your future to hold. Whether it be a physical board or a digital one, a vision board provides you the space to collect images and objects that speak to a future you want to create for yourself.

For first-time vision board makers, it can be difficult to create a board that actually helps to attract your desires. Below, you will find 3 tips for creating a vision board that helps you attract your desires and create the life you want.

1. Have a Clear Intention Before Getting Started

Before you actively start making your vision board, it's important that you have a clear intention for the board in mind. By having a clear idea of what the board’s intention is before you get started, you can create the perfect board for attracting your desires.

If you have many goals and desires, don't put all of them on the same board. Instead, try to focus on one intention per board so that you don't get overloaded. Start with the desires and intentions that are most pressing and important at the moment.

2. Go Back to Your Intention While Making the Vision Board

Once it becomes time to make your vision board, constantly go back to your intention. Before posting a picture or item on the board, reflect on whether or not it truly matches your intention. If you are hesitant about a picture, hold off and look again later.

3. Place the Vision Board in a High-Traffic Location

Vision boards work by helping you to physically see your goals and intentions. If you put the vision board in an area you don't frequent, it won't do you much good. As a result, you should put the vision board in a high-traffic location.

For even better results, place the board in a high-traffic location that you see in the morning and night, such as by your bed stand. By placing the board in this location, it's the first thing you see when you wake up and the last thing you see before you go to bed.

Once you create your vision board, allow it to guide your actions so that you turn your vision into a reality. After your desires of the current board have been met, create a new vision board to keep pursuing future goals.
